Kehillah is a contemporary independent, college preparatory high school for students in grades 9-12. We feature strong academics, performing and visual arts, experiential learning, competitive athletics, and life-changing class trips, all in a vibrant community that celebrates Jewish study, culture and values.
Kehillah Jewish High School provides its students with an outstanding education that is immersed in Jewish values. It cultivates young adults who are critical, self-reliant, and integrated thinkers, and who will grow as responsible, committed members of the Jewish community and the world-at-large.
Kehillah promotes respect for the diversity of our contemporary Jewish community and the modern Jewish world. We embrace these core Jewish values:
Loving kindness (Chesed)
Commitment to acts of kindness and concern for all others.
Ethical living (Mussar)
Constant striving for character refinement and ethical behavior.
Truth (Emet)
Burning commitment to integrity, honesty and the quest for objective truth.
Peoplehood (Achdut)
Every student is part of the Jewish community, and experiences both the celebrations and the concerns of the Jewish people and of Israel on an emotional level.
Obligations (Mitzvot)
Personal responsibility and accountability.
Gratitude (Hakarat HaTov)
Appreciate all the blessings of life and feel indebted to every source of goodness.
Action for Social Justice (Tikkun olam)
View ourselves and the world as incomplete, and accept the task of working to repair the world.
