Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging
At Kehillah, we believe our strength lies in our commitment to creating spaces where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.
We embrace diversity in all its forms and are dedicated to fostering equity, inclusion, and belonging. Inspired by Jewish values such as tzedek (justice) and machloket (respectful dialogue), we challenge inequities and work towards a more just world.
Our ongoing and ever-evolving work reflects our commitment to inclusion and social justice, empowering individuals to create positive change in their communities and the world.
Through bechirah (agency), we empower students and faculty to advocate for themselves and others, cultivating a compassionate community that fosters critical thinking, curiosity, and empathy. |
Work Life Balance & Professional Growth
We prioritize work-life balance, with structured daily and weekly rhythms for both faculty and students.
Kehillah encourages and assists faculty as they hone their teaching craft. Each faculty member creates pedagogical goals designed to further their objectives. Our departmental Deans partner with faculty to guide, create, and reflect on classroom innovation.
We encourage faculty members to attend conferences and workshops during the school year and the summer.
