Educator Availability
Teachers are available Monday through Thursday during office hours and open blocks, and they are eager to work with students outside of class time to provide additional support.
Instructional Techniques
Teachers employ strategies such as frequent prompts for attention, task initiation, and comprehension.
Instructions are broken down into manageable steps, and students are often seated close to the teacher. We prioritize eye contact, visual and auditory cues, and minimize passive listening tasks. Breaks and movement opportunities are incorporated into lessons.

Accessibility Supports
Students have access to a variety of tools, including audiobooks, graphic organizers, and computers for note-taking.
Larger assignments are divided into smaller, manageable tasks, such as evidence selection, thesis development, and drafts. Lecture notes and slides are also available on Schoology for review.
Assessment & Testing Accommodations
Study guides are provided, and test corrections may be permitted.
Students can arrange to take tests in a quiet, small-group setting with extended time. Additional accommodations include the use of calculators, and computers.
