You get to be known

At Kehillah, you don't have to already be a star to make the team, and you don't have to be student government president to shape this place.

Athletics are no-cut, so if you want to play, you play. Clubs get built by students who want them. Classes are sized so that teachers don’t just know your name, but understand how you learn, and what you can be capable of.

You get to try in a place where
it’s okay to make a mistake

You get to lead. You get to follow. You get to try whatever you're into without one misstep defining your whole high school experience.

Starting in 9th grade, you can take on the classes that challenge you, taught by teachers who pay attention to how you can grow. You get an open, college-like campus (the OFJCC included), real independence, and peers and mentors who catch you if something doesn't go the way you planned.

You get a say in who you become

Since Kehillah’s first graduating class in 2006, our graduates have been admitted to Stanford, Yale, Berkeley, Brown, MIT, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Princeton, and every University of California campus, and they’ve gone on to pursue paths as varied as they are: gap years, service, research, engineering, the arts, and more.

There’s no single mold for success here, and we celebrate that uniqueness. For us, getting into the best-fit college or helping you figure out what you want to pursue after high school is the bare minimum of what we do.

We call it becoming an Achievemensch: being skilled at something and being a good person are part of the same journey. Our shared values fuel our individual paths to success.
